Our morning circle

The morning circle begins promptly after tidying up at 9:00 a.m. and is an important ritual for all children.

It gives the children security and orientation and usually lasts 20-30 minutes depending on the type of design and topic.

The children's attendance is checked, everyone sings a good morning song together and then there is time for

• Conversations/storytelling circles
• the introduction, singing and playing of a new song
• speaking rhymes or finger plays
• reading a story
• getting to know different topics
  (e.g. seasons, space, etc.)
• celebrate birthdays
• Internal group projects
• Philosophize
• Children's conferences
